Great Day In The Lord!!

Do you ever have one of those days where everything that you touch goes wrong? I mean if you want it to be up it's down or if you want it in it's out. You know those days.

Well, today was not one of those days with me. It was a very productive day for me. My work got completed. Phone calls got made that needed to be made. Even the little things that went wrong didn't seem to bother me as bad. I really enjoyed the day. I hope I sleep as good as the day went.

During this day I did something that I have not been doing like I should. I read through a book of the Bible in one sitting. I am beginning Hebrews this Sunday and asked my class to do this so I did it as well. It just makes sense to read the Bible this way. Verses stand out and themes come to life when we read the Bible through in a translations we understand.

I just am so thankful for a great day in the Lord. Praise His name.

Forgiveness and Prayer

Forgiveness is the greatest gift ever given. My last blog was written after getting my feelings hurt by someone. Yesterday, he came by the house and apologized. We prayed together and forgiveness was requested and given. What a blessing! Thank you God for the perfect example of forgiveness in sending Jesus!

On another note, Danielle woke up this morning having seizures. Please continue to pray for her. She stayed out of school but got better throughout the day. We hadn't seen a seizure in weeks and were in hopes that they would go away, but not yet.

Please pray for her faith. She said today that she just wished that God would come back and take us to be with Him so that she wouldn't have to worry about it any more. I can't say that I don't agree with her. How awesome it would be to go home to be with Him. No more temptation, pain, suffering. We should look forward to it.
