Great News and Thanks!!
We had a great news answer to prayer yesterday. Danielle has been having head aches since last Thursday of and on and mostly on. It has really been a scare for her and us. The doctors thought that it was her new meds, but wanted to do a CT scan of her head just to make sure there was nothing abnormal there. They did this yesterday and the results yielded negative on anything abnormal. I kidded Danielle and told her, "See I told you there was nothing up there." That got a slight smile out of her. Anyway that was awesome news to us. The bad news is that she is still having head aches so still pray for her.
Thanks to all of your encouraging comments last blog. I wanted to tell Steve that his comment about the only person from north Alabama who will have you guys goes two ways. From a "church of Christ" standpoint you guys are about the only guys who will have me too.
The really strange thing to me right now is that in north Alabama the folks from all the churches other than churches of Christ are the one s who are showing me a Christlike attitude. They call and check on me, pray for me, lift me up spiritually, and more. It does something to you when people from your own heritage treat you like you don't exist any more. Then they turn it around on me and tell me that I'm the one who "left" the church. Doesn't that just grab you by the britches and throw you out the door. (That's southern for "what a slap in the face.")
Thanks be to God for my church family at Creekside. My shepherds are men who love the Lord and have just been patient with me on this journey. They support me and my family and have let me know through their actions that they care deeply for us. They have supported me as well as I make this break from "church of Christ-ism." The people have been so supportive as we discover more about the person of the Holy Spirit in my lesson series of late. Thanks so much Creekside.
I guess I want to end this blog today by thanking all of you again for your encouragement and may God bless each of you in your walk with Him.

Hang in there Keith! We love you and your family more than you know! I hope Danielle feels better soon. And just remember....if those C.O.C. people don't love you and support you, us ex-Methodists will! Ha Ha!
Love to all,
Laura :)

Great to hear some good news concerning Danielle. She needed a break.
I know the feeling about "treatment" from the "brethren." There were times when I was at a previous church that I was treated with more respect and concern by folks at the Little League Field than I was at that particular church. Sad.
But we love you man!

It was very good to be there today to sing with you guys. Rex tore it up on "Everytime I feel The Spirit!" StoogeLover next time you come to Creekside request that Rex lead this one. Have a Merry Christmas. I am trying to remind the children that it is about friends and family and a loving Savior. I love all of you and glad I was there today. Swindle
