Good News For Ralph Thompson
Praise the Lord for every victory! Laura Thompson, you all know her as "anonymous," called today and also emailed the following good news about Ralph. You'll remember Ralph from the photos of his car a couple of blogs ago.
"Praise be to God! Ralph is off the ventilator!!! They took him off at 7:10 this morning (he's so precise) and he's talking a mile a minute!! He still has a long way to go, but he's crossed one of the two biggest hurdles!!
Please continue to pray for him and for our entire family. Thank you so much for all your thoughts and prayers...they're working!!!"
Thought all of you would be interested in knowing this. I'm not sure what the next biggest hurdle is, but maybe Laura will post and let us know. Thanks for your prayers.

The other big hurdle is getting him well enough and healed enough to get him out of the hospital! Those ribs are going to be tough! But he's a fighter! He's been sitting up in a chair all day today and they can't get him to stop talking. They have not given him anything for pain today either. And he has been coughing quite a bit and he's able to cough up some of the "stuff" that we were worried about. Now if we can just get those ribs and his hip healed up we'll have it made! Thank you again for all your prayers!! He's proof that God is in control and He listens to our prayers!! I just talked to Mark and he said that Ralph had asked to see the pictures of the car again. After looking at them he looked at Mark and said "I'm lucky to be alive aren't I?" Glory be to God the ultimate physician!!
Love to all,
Mark & Laura
