y Ralph Thompson. Ralph is the father of Mark Thompson one of our dear brothers at Creekside. Mark's wife Laura is "anonymous" who comments on this blog from time to time.
Ralph is in the surgical trauma center in Huntsville Hospital in
Huntsville, AL in very serious condition after this accident. He was broadsided by a Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck. Everyone in the truck was ok after the wreck. Ralph is 73 years old and has had a lung to collapse from this. He has multiple broken ribs as well and is on a ventilator. They are hoping to get him off of that as soon as possible. He is responding to family and knows where he is, but doesn't have any 
remembrance of the accident.
Please pray for Ralph and his family. Especially pray that he is able to be removed from the ventilator soon.

Thank you so much for posting this Keith! And thanks to all the bloggers who are praying! Please continue to keep Ralph in your prayers. He has a very long way to go. We just need to get him off the ventilator as soon as possible to avoid pneumonia and depression. He's a tough guy! But this is a tough time of the year for our family. He lost his son Greg in September of 2000 and his wife in February of 2001. My dad died in October of 2000. So, it's a pretty hard time for us in the best of circumstances. Please keep praying!! Thank you all!
