Prayer Request
The following prayer request comes from one of our family at Creekside. Please pray for this family.
Hello everyone.... I just had to email to ask you to pray for Jason Langdon. Jason is the seventeen year old son of one of our Farm Bureau employees. We at Farm Bureau are like family even if we do not know each other personally. Jason tore/severed his carotid artery during a football game about 2 weeks ago. He suffered a major stroke on the left side of his brain. He was air-lifted to The Med in Memphis, TN and has had several surgeries. Jason is paralyzed on his right side and cannot speak. He is off life support and is breathing on his own. He developed pneumonia this week and has been battling that. If all goes well, he will be transferred by ambulance to Shepherd Center in Atlanta on Monday October 10th. This is supposedly one of the best rehabilitation centers in the country.
Jason is an outstanding person and athlete. He plays all sports well and was probably getting a baseball scholarship to one of MS's 4 year universities. As you may imagine, his spirits are very low. I am asking for your prayers for Jason, his family, his doctors, his therapists, and his nurses. I also ask that you forward this prayer request to those who will respond. Prayer will get Jason and his family through this tragedy. Please add him to your church prayer lists, bible study prayer lists, etc...
FYI - The Langdons are from Water Valley, MS. Jason is a Water Valley High School football player.

We also had a similar incident this past summer. Please pray for Nick Catehis. Nick would be a senior at Rockledge High School this year. Unfortunately he was involved in an auto accident coming home from a summer league baseball game that has left him still in a coma. He also went to the hospital that you mentioned in Atlanta but he never came out of his coma so they sent him back home.
We will pray for this young man and I’ll mention him at our church tomorrow.
