Mom is Moved!
Beginning January 8th and really weeks before that, our lives have changed in a permanent sort of way. As you all know, my dad died January 8th. Since then, life has been a whirlwind. As you can tell, my blogs are few and far between.
Mom sold her house and has been working toward moving into our old home place (now my grandmother's house). My grandmother is in the nursing home and so mom is moving back. It is a big step down in size for her space, and she hasn't gotten rid of enough stuff yet. Look out Florence, AL for the biggest yard sale in your history!
Praise the Lord though, we got her moved today. She will have lots of work unpacking, so pray for her. Pray too that life can get back to some kind of normal, whatever that is.
I am looking forward to Pepperdine (other than the flight) and spending time with all of you who are going.

Keith - I know what you're going through. I remember the same kinds of decisions and moves we went through when my Dad passed away.
I'm looking forward to hanging out with you in SoCal as well.
BTW - I would recommend bringing an extra pair of cheap sunglasses for Greg’s dog Cujo, I mean Chipper.

So glad things are going well with your mom. I am sure Hugh would go to the yard sale and sing Yard Sale Blues for you. Swindle

Keith moms are the greatest people in the world. I will be in prayer for her during this transition.
On Pepperdine: delighted to know you are going to be there. John Mark Hicks and I will be doing three lessons each evening and would love to see you again. It has been a very long time since we were students at IBC together. Even went on a "campaign" together as I recall.
Shalom,

All the best for this time of transition. Pepperdine will be a welcome break for you this year.
