Johnny Carson Dies

I remember as a young boy growing up that almost a nightly thing with my mom on TV was the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. He was something of an American Icon. He spent his life making people laugh. Most of the time it was funny stuff about everyday life. In listening to different people talk about his life, you get the feeling that he almost touched every person in the world.

The Bible says (Proverbs 15:13 NIV) "A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit." Johnny was certainly not a preacher and I don't know about his spiritual life at all, but I do know that he brought about lots of cheer for people. That is a good thing.
